MAH SING'S ICON CITY WINS 3 AWARDS AT QLASSIC DAY 2017, EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION

KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Berhad’s (Mah Sing) Icon City, Petaling Jaya won 3 awards at Construction Industry Development Board’s (CIBD) QLASSIC (Quality Assessment System in Construction) Day 2017 awards ceremony today.
Icon City, Petaling Jaya was awarded Best QLASSIC Achievement Awards 2017 for residential (large >RM100million) category as well as 2 High QLASSIC Achievement Awards 2017 for Tower 1 and Tower 3A.
QLASSIC is a system or method to measure and evaluate the workmanship quality of a building construction work based on Construction Industry Standard (CIS 7:2014). Scorings were given based on the first inspection that was carried out. Rectification and correction carried out after the assessment will not be rescored as the board encourage “doing things right the first time and every time”. All winning projects has QLASSIC score of more than 80%.
According to a statement, Mah Sing’s group managing director Tan Sri Datuk Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “In all that we do, we want to reinvent spaces and enhance life. Therefore, we always focus on quality to enhance the lives of our buyers. This award is testament to our efforts in successfully delivering high quality properties.”
